We are an afternoon and weekend English school dedicated to the personal growth and academic success of returnee and bicultural children. We teach essay and fiction writing, presentations kills, advanced reading and listening skills, as well as fundamental study skills to native or near-native level English speakers. While many of our students study with us simply to maintain their English, most come to KA with the goal of passing into a returnee program at one of Japan’s top junior or senior high schools. Others join KA to realize their dream of attending one of the world’s top universities. Though we don’t consider ourselves a traditional “cram school,” we have achieved unrivaled success in helping our students to pass their academic goals, whatever they may be.
Now located at five locations in Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Chiba, we employ over 110 teachers and staff, and have more that 1700 students currently enrolled. Our success comes from the kindness and care upon which our community is built, both for our students, as well as for our staff and teachers who make KA such a special place to work and study.
