Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a ski instructor
  • Must be a certified ski instructor (BASI, PSIA, CSIA, NZSIA, PSIA, or similar)
  • To teach powder lessons must be at least Avalanche Level 1 certified
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment and adapt quickly to the changing needs
  • A passion for skiing and the outdoors
  • A passion for customer service along with a strong desire to achieve goals & target
  • Flexible to work various shifts including public holidays and weekends
  • A high standard of work ethic and attention to detail
  • An ability to foster team spirit with a positive attitude

Job Description:

We are a small ski school in Niseko looking for talented ski instructors who have a passion for teaching students of all ages and abilities. The powdered snow with the backdrop of the majestic Mount Hirafu along with the opportunity to meet guests from around the world will inevitably give ski instructors an unforgettable experience. 

Ski Instructors will be compensated based on experience and qualification. All levels of ski instructors are encouraged to apply. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working as a skiing instructor at Niseko United ski resort in Hokkaido, Japan
  • Working with other staff members to ensure a positive guest experience
  • Minimum requirement of teaching students up to a parallel ski turn on green (beginner) slopes
  • Teaching guests of all ages and nationalities
  • Working under various weather conditions and being adaptable to different weather
