  • 2 years ALT experience. 
  • JLPT N3 or equivalent Japanese ability. 
  • A teaching qualification such as a TEFL or teaching license. 
  • Flexible mind-set, positive and cheerful and outgoing. 
  • Professional in all aspects of behavior and outstanding interpersonal communication skills. 
It would be advantageous for candidates to have: 
  • Experience teaching students of all ages. 
  • Flexibility to relocate anywhere in the country. 
  • A valid Japanese driver’s license.

Job Description:

If you are an experienced teacher with a passion to help others shine as educators, a Trainer position with Link Interac Group, Japan’s largest private provider of assistant language teachers (ALTs) to elementary, junior and senior high schools nationwide. This is an exciting opportunity to position yourself at the leading edge of English education responsible for helping improve the quality of lessons for literally millions of students. All positions start in April 2018.

A Trainer is at the forefront of managing the quality of instruction provided by a branch’s instructors. In addition to planning and delivering initial and on-going training, trainers provide support to instructors through observation, feedback and counselling. The role also involves some HR management and sales support. Depending on the size of the branch travel may be significant. The role of trainer will appeal to those with a strong interest in education, are enthusiastic in their support of others, and are dedicated to improving the quality of instruction in the classroom.
