With a graying population and growing demand for international professionals, working as a recruiter with Link Japan Careers Inc. (LJC) you would be central to our mission of cross-cultural design. Put simply, cross-cultural design is the lowering of barriers and the improvement of access to job opportunities for international professionals looking to build a career in Japan and assisting corporations looking to connect with them. Beyond job placement, LJC also offers training and on-boarding services alongside daily-life support services. This comprehensive approach in working to cover any need an employee or employer may have makes LJC unique among Japanese companies operating on the international stage.

Focusing on the education industry, (ALT and eikaiwa) LJC recruiters are based in Tokyo and responsible for meeting the recruiting needs of all six regional companies in the Link Interac Group and other LJC clients. Recruiters will be involved with candidate through all stages of the placement process from screening, management and following up with candidates. LJC manages candidates from across the globe; both those who apply domestically from inside Japan as well as reviewing and on-boarding candidates sourced from our overseas channels (North America, Europe and Oceania). Recruiters are also involved in planning and running recruiting seminars across Japan and are both the face of LJC and serve as representatives of the clients they are working with. As such, recruiters need to be outgoing, with a cheerful personality and be comfortable proactively reaching out to candidates of various backgrounds.
