Job Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree 
  • Intermediate computer skills and openness to grasping new technology solutions
  • 1 year of teaching experience and two years of full-time work experience
  • 1 year of full-time recruitment or HR work
    • We are looking for someone to jump in quickly and for this reason we are not hiring internally
  • 6 months or more remaining on your Work VISA (We can sponsor your VISA Renewal)

One Coin English

One Coin English is the new guy on the block in the language school business. We are a high-growth company founded in 2014 that started with 3 people and now have rapidly grown to over 80 foreign staff in 2018. We currently have 6 English School branches around Tokyo and we will also open a Japanese School by September, 2018. All of this is possible because we place a high priority on hard work, health, respect, responsibility, and honesty and we believe these are the keys factors for an inspiring and humble work environment.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 40 hours of work/day (Weekdays from 1 PM - 10 PM and Weekends from 10 AM - 7 PM) 
  • ​Sunday - Thursday Shift or Tuesday - Saturday Shift / We want one recruiter available each day
  • Locations - Shinjuku Headquarters + Occasional Visits to All OCE schools
 

MAIN FUNCTION IN THE COMPANY:

  • To lead recruitment team of two in hiring PT teachers for all OCE branches
  • To support the vision of the company by hiring and attracting candidates that embody the goals of the company and those who you would like to work with
  • To maintain and to add magic touches to the company's recruitment process to increase the number of and improve the quality of monthly applicant numbers
  • To maintain and improve the school’s reputation as a great place to work for the school online and with foreigners in Tokyo
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 2 recruiters (3 member recruitment team by 2019)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the OCE recruitment process including job advertising, candidate sourcing, application screening, in person interviews and interview strategies
  • Ensure a constant and frequent flow of applicants into OCE
  • Develop additional channels for increasing amount of candidates
  • Manage and improve recruitment website and website SEO management
  • Manage social media accounts and job ads
  • Plan and participate in strategic planning meetings to understand current and upcoming requirements in order to build a strategy on more effective recruitment processes used in the compan
  • Ensure the hiring of good quality candidates
    • Conduct interviews and demo lesson reviews in person
    • Develop manuals and training for recruitment team on hiring
  • Ensure good communication between other departments and recruitment department
