Job Description:

We are seeking a teacher that puts kids first and enjoys having fun at school. We are looking for someone to work with us, and not for us.

Afternoon - 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Children range from 3-12 years old in these classes. These classes are more focused on following a textbook-based curriculum through a leveled approach. They are more similar to juku-styled eikaiwa classes but are more open-ended, and with a focus on speaking and listening skills rather than reading and writing. Taught by 1 teacher.

Benefits
  • Hourly rate is negotiable for the right person.
  • Paid transportation fee
  • Possibility for visa renewal next year
  • As we are a growing business, there is the opportunity for promotion for motivated persons.
  • If you have a child of your own, they may be able to attend classes for free.
  • Relaxed, non-corporate atmosphere. We are not robots and neither are you.
------------------------

We are mainly looking for an afternoon teacher, but we also have a morning position available (details below). We're accepting applications for both positions at this time.

•Morning - 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM and focus on students from 6 months to 3 years old. These classes focus on developing interpersonal and pre-kindergarten skills through English. Each month follows a different theme that links each class together. These classes are more similar to international schools and Mommy-and-Me classes. Taught with 2 teachers.

To apply please submit the following:

-Resume/CV with recent photo attached
-Current Visa Status
-Which position you are applying for (mornings or afternoons)
-Answers to one of the following questions:

A) Who was your favourite teacher when you were a kid and why?
B) What would you bring to the table to our school?
C) What do you like about teaching children?

Thank you for your interest in our school. We look forward to hearing from you!
