Job Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Postgraduate management degree with specialization in business administration or other related disciplines;
  • 5-7 years sales/strategic planning/brand marketing or related work experience;
  • Cross functional experience – successful management of expectation / relationship at multiple levels;
  • Fluency in Japanese and English languages. Must speak, understand and read Japanese language;
  • FMCG experience, experience in food business is preferable;
  • Customer engagement – experience external partner engagement preferable. Such as field sales experience;
  • Franchise Management (e.g. licensing, JV, or other operation model) is preferable;
  • Strong business partner mindset, good commercial understanding and strengths in communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills;
  • Good attention to detail and comfort in getting hands dirty;
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills;
  • Ability to facilitate and lead communication sessions with ease;
  • Comfort in operating in a matrix setup+

Job Description:

Main Purpose
  • Manage the strategic planning/ Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process for Japan Foods business (Quaker). Timely communication and collaboration with business partner’s operating (execution) teams to ensure execution plans are implemented according to strategic plans and AOP.
  • Drive the implementation of global innovation (new products) and campaign platform for brand equity enhancement and volume growth for PEP TMs (Quaker) by working with Sector / Region category teams.
  • Manage brand equity and guidelines in Japan market.
  • Identify new white spaces to expand PepsiCo’s foods portfolio within Japan working collaboratively with GM.
  • Lead executions working with business partners to develop the white spaces.
  • Support GM to implement organizational development initiatives for business partners.
  • Lead the strategic planning/AOP process of the Quaker business in terms of internal plan and engagements with outside partners.
  • Work with business partners and PepsiCo category teams to develop operational plans designed to achieve aggressive business growth and financial performance targets (Quaker)
  • Lead timely communication and collaboration with business partners (Quaker) to ensure execution are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Share global programs and best practices to business partners and reporting of business performance.
  • Work with regional category teams to gain approvals for new products (including packaging artwork).
  • Cordinate key events/meetings and internal visitors.
