Our Vision: To find the extraordinary in the ordinary and introduce the meaningful, everyday culture and value of Japan to the world. We want people to come to Japan to interact with locals and find meaning in the local traditions, values, and lifestyle.

Company Values:
Passion: We want people who feel
passion! It could be for anything--travel, food, books, onsen--passionate people are welcome.
Proactiveness: We welcome go-getters. Do you want something? Do you go get it? We value that.
Teamwork: We value team members! Let’s work together to have a fun season for everyone.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. To be friendly and have enough energy for customer service and customer service interactions.
2. Be fit enough to run walking tours in Nozawa and Monkey Tours in Jigokudani. You will need to walk around for a couple of hours.
3. Conversational Japanese language skills so that you can talk with our service vendors and providers.

Preference Given For:
1. Higher Japanese language skill
2. Web design or online marketing experience
3. IT application knowledge (Magento, Salesforce, Zendesk, Google Suite, MailChimp)
4. Travel agency, property management or real-estate agency experience

Cultural Fit: We’re looking for people who are open-minded and are okay with making mistakes. If you can conduct yourself with grace in a variety of situations, you’re a great fit!

Benefits: You will get to live and work in Nozawa Onsen. This is a side of Japan that not many people get to experience. You will get to know the locals, be a visible part of the community, and learn and grow as a human being through your experiences here. We’ve all done it, and we think it’s a great benefit to working here in Nozawa.

Our company offers you a chance to grow. Right now is a critical time for our growth. We are expanding, updating our current business, and much more. People who join now will be in the trenches with us, but will also have the opportunity to grow with us.

You can improve your Japanese language and business skills. You will be using Japanese to communicate with taxi providers, hotel providers, and other business partners. There will be daily opportunities to use business Japanese on the phone as well as in other situations. We are not asking for business level Japanese, but we will guide you and this is a great chance for you to learn it if you want to do business in Japan.
