About the role
 

Due to some growth they now require Senior Support Consultants who work directly with the customer, and are able to answer complex questions on function and usage of product post implementation primarily via phone and internet but also face to face. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively troubleshoots and resolves technical issues that arise post implementation. These may require onsite support.
  • Develops custom modifications, designs new functionality, and system configuration.
  • Supports and guides clients through implementation of additional functionality.
  • Prioritises issues and projects.
  • Suggests product improvements based on customer feedback.
  • Up to 50% travel may be required
 
To be successful in this position, you will require:
  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field. 
  • Some experience in developing, supporting or implementing packaged application software. 
  • Supply Chain software experience highly regarded!
  • Possesses and applies broad knowledge of practices, principles and procedures of a particular product or platform to the completion of moderate to complex assignments. 
  • Performs professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting, more complex, less clearly-defined issues. Identifies problems and possible solutions and takes appropriate action to resolve.
  • Works independent on large, moderately complex projects / assignments that have direct impact on department and area results. Receives guidance only on unusual complex problems or issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English essential.
