Job Requirements:

We are looking for trainers who:

● are flexible enough to manage unexpected requests and changes
● are able to manage their own schedule
● are able to combine their experience in the corporate world with exemplary teaching skills
● are able to maintain frequent contact with account managers and staff

Requirements:

● have a minimum of an undergraduate degree
● are a native (or native-fluent) English speaker
● have a minimum of 2 years' teaching 
● experience teaching in a business environment preferred

Visa/Residence Requirements:

Only domestic applicants with a valid working visa to work in Japan will be considered. Please note that all interviews are conducted in-person in Tokyo.

Job Description:

The Berlitz Talent Development Department is pleased to announce the opening of a position in the Yokohama area. This position involves planning and delivering lessons, conducting level assessment interviews, recording attendance and writing student assessments. In addition to this, there will be other tasks that will be explained at the interview. 

Ideally we would like the chosen candidate to start on June the 18th, though there is flexibility with the starting date. There will be a training period prior to the start date, to be scheduled depending upon the successful candidate's availability. Contracts for the position are renewable, based on performance and client renewal. 

The salary will be paid monthly at a sum of 300,000 JPY, with a completion bonus of 100,000 JPY per 6 months.

This position is for four days a week. The schedule is from Tuesday to Friday, from 08:00-17:00, with a one-hour lunch break.

This position will require enrolment in Social Insurance (Shakai Hoken). Transportaion is fully reimbursed.
