• Are you currently piecing together part-time work for the coming school year?
• 
Are you intrested in teaching English utlizing Drama/Theatre techniques?
• Are you looking for work on Saturdays with a guaranteed daily rate?

YES...YES...YES...read on:

• English ability: it must be your first language...true native-level speaker/writer.
• Contract term: Tuesday 28th March 2017 through to March 10th 2018.
• Teaching experience: with students aged 6 months to 15 years old.
• Visa: hold a current valid working visa.



 

Job Description:

ENGLISH THROUGH DRAMA!
Simple as that...teaching English language and culture by utilising a combination of language teaching skills coupled with theatre/acting techniques, culminating with your students going up on stage once per year! A fun challenge for sure!

MLS was founded in 1974 and our instructors teach via our unique, "English Through Drama" method...fun for students AND teachers! Our client base ranges from children to adults, and international corporate companies to world-renown actors and singers. Our 30 schools are situated close to mainline stations within West Tokyo, Saitama, Yokohama, Kanagawa and Chiba...no teaching in a cubical or need to wear a suit! 

POSITION BASICS:
• Schedule: Saturdays only with a set location/classes across the year.
• Class times: average start/end times are 10:00/19:00.
• Student ages: 1 to 15.
• Class size: 1 to 12,,,average 6.
• Transportation costs: to and from place of work is fully reimbursed.

TRAINING and SUPPORT: Successful candidates will receive comprehensive (and paid) training…so you are not just thrown in at the deep end! There are also paid training and support meetings every Friday morning, should you be free to attend. The curriculum is set, established and effective.
