Job Description:

Link Japan Careers (LJC) is seeking applications from international professionals looking to take on real responsibility as a full-time member of our “Seikatsu Support” team helping with many of the on-going services we offer directed towards supporting the daily lives of our clients’ employees. This position will see you taking on many projects like coordinating our cell phone, emergency support and other services, as outlined below.
 

Based in Tokyo, your responsibilities would include:
  • Working with the Seikatsu Support team to plan, promote and insure smooth delivery of our range of products and services.
  • Assist in running IT-related functions like the use of Google Sites through G-Suite.
  • Participating in sales initiatives and client outreach.
  • Other administrative tasks as required by the demands of our business.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
  • Flexibility and an understanding of the dynamics of a Japanese organization.
  • Be results-oriented, focused and motivated with strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal communication skills in both English and Japanese.
  • Possess a high level of IT competence, in particular, proficiency in MS OFFICE and the G-Suite (G-mail, Drive, Docs, Sheets etc.) programs.
  • Have experience working in marketing, or in client-facing positions, able to understand and synthesize the needs of both customers and clients and effectively proritize and manage their work tasks.

As for our office environment, the LJC Seikatsu Support team is made up of professionals from around the world and we welcome applications from all nationalities. While our general hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, there are several events and functions a year that staff will be expected to attend. Fortunately our office maintains a flex-time work system that helps maintain a healthy work-life balance.
