Job Description:

 

Job Summary
 
Assist the Sports Department in the planning, supervising, implementation and running of all Sports Department related events/activities/functions involving the club.
 

Job Tasks
 
  1. Works closely with the Sports Operations team to be support for the general running of the club’s sport and activity related programmes and functions.
  2. To be the liaison at times with outside sports teams, associations, companies and organizations.
  3. Assist to maintain and update all sports equipment, uniforms, trophies; and supplies while adhere to the department’s budget.
  4. To upkeep & input various sports-related records. Which includes, but is not exclusive to: results, reports, financials, and other sports department related items.
  5. Maintain & update schedules, function sheets, posters/etc. of various sports and recreational activities.
  6. Assisting with the creation; preparation; promotion; implementation; support; and follow-up efforts for various sports department related events & activities.
  7. Assisting with booking, promotion and organizing outside YC&AC sporting and club activities (Ski Trip, Marathons, various games & excursions, etc.)
  8. At times, will be asked to take a leadership role in the running & creation of various club activities & events when required.
  9. Ensure that all communication in/outside the club is done in a professional and timely manner.
