職務内容
ROLE TITLE
English Operations Specialist (Office)
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You’ll be joining an office team of 10+ staff members helping out with various tasks related to the English language reporting to your supervisor. The tasks cover translation of marketing materials from Japanese into English, English product copy & blog creation, simple English customer support, as well as simple data analysis and data preparation. You may also be involved in other departments such as imports, business development, and IT depending on your skills. This position has a wide range of responsibilities with plenty of room for growth.
Most tasks will be trained on the job. Other skills that are brought along that can be applied will be remunerated accordingly. See more below:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS

- Must currently be in Japan.
- Native English level ability (equivalent to TOEIC OF 900+).
- Including the ability to check for mistakes, understand native nuances, and write professionally.
- Ability to handle basic Japanese in a professional work environment.
- Must be able to operate Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to translate Japanese into natural English
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Understanding of HTML / CSS
- Experience with e-commerce
- Photoshop/Illustrator experience
- Video editing experience
- IT Skills
- Knowledge and passion for food & cooking
THESE SKILLS WILL BE REMUNERATED EXTRA IF YOU BRING THEM ALONG:
- IT Skills (networking, printers, computers, etc.)
- N1 Japanese Level
- Highly skilled in social media content creation
- Skilled and experienced in product marketing and graphic design

PAY
- JPY 220,000 - JPY 280,000 / month
- Up to JPY 13,000 transport allowance/month
- Pay raise every year based on performance
WORKING HOURS
- Monday - Friday
- 9:00 - 18:00 (1h break included)
- All national holidays off
