Job Description

SCHOLA LINGUA is currently looking for committed and motivated individuals to join our team! We are an English & German language school located at Kikuna station (Toyoko Line/Fukutoshin Line/Yokohama Line) in Yokohama.

Applicants will be teaching adults and children using various textbooks and media. All lessons are taught in a 1-to-1 setting and entirely in German.

Job Requirements

Applicants must:

• be a native speaker of German
•  have strong emotional intelligence skills
• care about student's progress and enjoyment throughout the lesson
• be able to conduct structured lessons

Other requirements:

• have a valid working VISA in Japan
• be highly responsible and respectful with students

Additional appreciated if applicant:

• has teaching experience
• has the ability to teach English as well
• is living in Yokohama
• is able to start asap

Working hours:
Classes are mostly in the afternoon between 16:00-20:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and between 10:00 - 14:00 on Saturdays. Other days might be offered as well.

Flexibility is preferred, but instructors do not need to be available on all days. They will generally come in to teach from 1-3 hours a day depending on the demand.

Salary:
¥3000/hour
Transportation will be compensated.
