Job Description

• As an Associate Consultant at Randstad, you will work as part of a team that is determined to be regarded as the most loved in the recruitment industry in Japan. As an expert in your market, you will have access to searches at different levels, often with exclusivity and oftentimes, with confidentiality. Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Research/Search and contact potential candidates acting as a first filter in the screening process, considering both their professional skills and attributes
  • Name collect proactively
  • Headhunt candidates, especially referral candidates with no known public profile, in order to give Randstad’s Life Science Team a competitive advantage in the market
  • Arrange face-to-face/phone meetings with candidates for consultants to screen and evaluate for clients
  • Develop the mentality of being a “trusted advisor” for the clients we work with
  • Attend client/candidate meetings as necessary to give support to consultants and the manager. These will be conducted with clients located not only in Japan but also overseas, often with very senior individuals. Being well prepared and well presented is naturally a given.
