Job Description
Berlitz Fukuyama, an independently owned and operated Language Center in Hiroshima prefecture is seeking part-time, per-lesson English instructors.
We offer a great working environment with interesting students in a beautiful city.
Benefits
The position is part time based on an ¥ 1,800 per 40-minute lesson
Work hours: Lessons are generally between 10:00-21:10 and lesson volume will fluctuate
Work days: Tuesday to Saturday
Paid commuting allowance (In some cases, a travel route may be specified)
Job Requirements
We are seeking instructors for our international team who:
- are native (or native-level) English speakers
- are culturally sensitive, professional, and have excellent organizational and communication skills
- can commit to a minimum of one year
- have a minimum of BA or BS degree
- are interested in and passionate about teaching adults as well as children
- are currently residing within a reasonable distance from Fukuyama,
- already have permission to work in Japan (visa sponsorship is NOT possible)
- can attend in-person interviews in Fukuyama
