Job Description:
The Senior Financial Advisor is the face of Inter Berner Dubois. The Advisor is primarily responsible for the client experience and engaging our resources to offer a holistic financial planning strategy. This function leads to new client acquisition and retention through a deep knowledge of investments and planning.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling and implementing investment products to key clients.
- Coordinate specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise for our most complex clients.
- Manage each account to ensure that the client's profile is accurate, that the client is introduced to the right product specialists, and that the accounts are correctly maintained and serviced.
- Establish client trust and efficiently manage relationships.
- Ensure that the proposed services are tailored to meet the clients' demands, goals, and objectives.
- Support junior employees with their development
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, management, or mathematics is required
- 10+ years experience in wealth management or financial planning
- Proven sales success, including prospecting, profiling, objection handling, negotiation, team selling, completing the transaction, and asking for referrals
- Strong knowledge of investments, including asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products, and wealth planning prospects
- Multilingual must have good communication skills in English, Japanese and French
- Coachable professional with sound business judgment and a dynamic/energetic personality
- Excellent connection management and team-building skills; consider the team concept to be vital to model
