職務内容

Pacific Coast Auto is a used car auction agent and exporter. We have been in business since 2008 and have established a solid position in the industry.

We at Pacific Coast Auto are looking to expand our online presence by by hiring a dedicated staff to produce and edit fun car content. The ideal candidate must be a car enthusiast who knows and understands what other car enthusiasts want to see. This person should have an excellent eye for video editing in creative ways, a good sense of timing, and a keen desire to show all things car-related in Japan.

Our Youtube channel is currently filled with reference videos of the cars we have bought and exported. With these videos, we have accumulated over 90,000 subscribers. We now want to move the channel into more entertaining videos for the purpose of promoting our core business of exporting cars. Together with our staff, your job will be to take part in planning, decide how the videos will be shot, then record the content and edit the videos together. Finished videos will be posted to Youtube or other social media.

Basically, as long as we can make a business case for the video, we are open to plenty of ideas.

We are rather laid back and have a good sense of humour. We don't take ourselves too seriously in the videos and enjoy joking around.  We hope to find someone that fits into our culture well. It helps to be someone that can work dynamically, change direction if needed, accept feedback well, and stay positive under stress.

Salary is negotiable and based on skill and abilities.

Camera equipment, computer, and software provided by Pacific Coast Auto.

Extra details

This is a full time position in out Yokohama office. Working hours are 5 days a week, 8 hours per day. You must come to the office for this job. You must be legally able to work in Japan. Pacific Coast Auto offers visa sponsorship for those that need it.

Regular holidays are given plus 10 paid days off

Extra days off for Golden Week, Obon, and year end
