As a teacher at BEC, you will teach your own kindergarten classes in cooperation with a Japanese nursery teacher, and you will also have your own after-school classes. Other duties include planning and carrying out special school events at various stages throughout the year, including Sports Day, Halloween and Christmas parties, and the yearly English Performance.

We work with our staff to make sure that our students are offered fun and interactive lessons. The aim is not to teach them English, but rather give them the opportunity to develop their English through studying a variety of different subjects and taking part in a wide range of activities.

Benefits

On top of the basic salary of ¥263,000, opportunities for paid overtime are available. We are also able to offer up to ¥20,000 per month for your transportation costs. There are 7 weeks of school vacation time throughout the year, fully paid. Additionally, once you have been working with us for a period of 6 months you will be entitled to another 5 days of paid holiday per year.
