Operations Associate (Tokyo based)
Hi, we are Maji. We are social media and mobile app technology reimagined. Japan will be our first launch market and we need a high-performing, efficient and dedicated operations associate, with the right attitude for a startup environment. You will contribute to the Japan market execution of the growth strategy. We’re moving fast and we’re looking for results. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and communicate with internal resources, external partners and executive team to ensure flawless execution of projects
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, adding value by bringing the lens of Japanese stakeholders
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, risks and performance
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks
- Report and escalate concerns, feedback and questions as needed
- Meet budget objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Coordinate all business operation in Japan
- Perform other duties related to the successful completion of projects
- Please note you will be speaking to the head office team in Sydney in English and working with international managers
Salary: Dependent on experience, to be discussed
Education requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study and equivalent work experience
Language requirements: Fluent native speaker in Japanese, working business proficiency in English
Location: Tokyo, Japan (remote working temporarily due to COVID)
