職務内容

Responsibilities:

Staff member level:

• Follow up with current supplier database in order to negotiate current prices and existing contracts;
• Work closely with other members of the purchasing team and divide tasks according to the abilities and skills in order to meet weekly/monthly deadlines;
• Expand existing supplier database by contacting and bringing in domestic and overseas suppliers (Italian, ethnic, French and other produce);
• Constantly search for the new products and ingredients by all the existing means in order to introduce new menus and products for the Global Dining, Inc customers;
• Cooperate with restaurant teams on a daily basis, meeting delivery and inventory deadlines, taking and fulfilling requests from the restaurant side to ensure Global Dining customers’ satisfaction.

Leader/Manager level (in addition to above):

• Managing existing projects and setting up targets for the other members of staff (leader/manager level), sharing the progress with the board of directors on a weekly/monthly basis;
• Weekly/monthly proposals to the company and the board of directors to keep the company up to date with current market situation;
• Control the overall cost and manage the budgets for.

 

Requirements:

• Business level Japanese;
• Business level English is a plus;
• Currently residing in Japan;
• A year or more of a relevant experience;
• High motivation and self starter are a must;
• MS Office proficiency;
• Wine and liquor, spirits and whiskey, coffee/tea and other food/beverage knowledge are a plus;
