Job Description
Saintpaulia English Conversation School is seeking a Semi Full-time English teacher to work in Sendai.
No teaching experience necessary or Japanese skills are needed; however, a teacher with a big heart who follows the school’s policy is welcome.
Work Schedule
- Starting from November 6th Wednesday, 2024. Salary 200,000yen/month.
Teaching Schedule
- Only four days per week. No morning lessons
Holidays / Days off
- Holidays are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and national holidays.
- Three long vacations, 10 days long, during the Spring, Summer and Winter, so half of days of the year are off. This allows for a good work-life balance the the ability to enjoy traveling on your days off.
Accommodations
- A livable share house is available if you need. A private room is also available for about 55,000 yen/month (includes: Wi-Fi, water and electricity).
Requirements
One must have a proper work-related visa allowing one to legally work in Japan (working holiday visa acceptable). Tourist visas are not welcome.

Sendai is a beautiful city surrounded by a natural environment. with a population of about 1.1 million people. Sendai is not far from Tokyo, about two hours by Shinkansen.
There are many hot springs, ski resorts, beaches and scenic & historical places nearby such as Matushima (rate one of the top three in Japan).
