Job Description

We are a small eikaiwa school located in Chiba City less than 10 minutes walk from JR Soga Station. We have been in the Soga area for over 10 years.  We use textbooks in class, but we are very flexible when it comes to teaching strategies.

We are looking for a part time Native English teacher to teach classes to adults. Saturdays are a must. Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays are optional.

Payment: 5,500 Yen per shift (2200 Yen per hour)

The time is as follows:

Saturdays (2 classes for now, but more can be added later)

・Work time: 12:30 ~ 15:00 (Actual class time 13:00 ~ 13:50 , 14:00 ~ 14:50)

Responsibilities:
・Teach adults of varying levels
・Record notes from the lesson
・Keep classroom tidy and clean
・Assist other teachers/staff with office work
・General cleaning of school

We provide:
・Paid training
・Transportation

Successful candidate must:
・Hold a valid visa permitting work
・Have at least a Bachelor's Degree
・Be a native speaker of English
・No Japanese is necessary
・Have good communication skills and patience
