Who we need:
You speak Japanese, You love helping people, you are ambitious, and want to succeed. You have experience working with people to resolve issues primarily through email interactions.

Wearsafe Labs is seeking a highly motivated Japanese-speaking Customer Support Specialist to respond to customer inquiries related to their account and provide technical support. Responsibilities will include answering inquiries related to technical support issues, subscription information, credit card issues, and vendor inquiries.

What you’ll be doing:
• Responding to email inquiries related to customer support issues.
• When requested, contacting customers by phone to assist with troubleshooting technical issues.
• Proactive outreach to customers who have long open alerts.
• Write and update all support documentation, including macros for common responses and support FAQ’s.
• Reporting and statistics on support-related data.
• Performs other similar and related duties as required.

What you’ll need:

• Fluent in Japanese with an ability to respond to emails in Japanese.
• Experience working with Japanese speaking customers
• Minimum of 3 years in a customer service role, ideally in the technology or safety industry.
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Experience using Zendesk as your primary customer service platform.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail, and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
• Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment. Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and strong customer orientation.
• Self-starter, able to make decisions with limited oversight.
• A passion for helping others, solving problems, and creating positive customer experiences.
• Professional verbal and written communications with fluency in English and Japanese.
