International primary school in Nagareyama, Chiba is hiring Full-Time/ Part Time English and French teachers. The main responsibilities will include teaching various subjects like English, Math, Science, Art in English, as well as French language classes. Since it is a new school founded in 2016, we always welcome new ideas from all of our staff to create a fun learning environment for our students. We are looking for teachers who are willing to cooperate to achieve this dream together.

Our immersion-based curriculum enables children to be able to communicate effectively in Japanese, English, and French. As a teacher, you will be expected to plan your own lessons based on the school’s curriculum. We believe that children learn much more effectively when they are having fun, therefore, creativity is highly encouraged. We have 7 lessons from Monday to Friday, and 4 lessons on Saturday. The teachers work 5 days a week, and daily schedule varies depending on the subjects you teach. Full-time employees are expected to be on campus the whole day whether or not they have lessons.

Benefits

• Contract: One-year, renewable contract
• Working Hours: 8:00-16:00 (5 days a week)
• Holidays: Sundays and another day to be determined based on the time table, national holidays
• Monthly Salary　（Full-time）: 200.000 to 250000 JPY (negotiable)
  (Part-time): determined based on the hours you teach
• Transportation fee
• Closest train station: 2 mins from Nagareyama Centralpark station on Tsukuba Express Line
• Visa sponsorship available

Job Requirements

The successful candidates must:

• be native level speakers of English or French
• currently reside in Japan
• have bachelor’s degree
• have teaching experience with young learners
• be able to commit for at least one year
