Full time-Early Childcare Homeroom Teacher and Hybrid Online Language Teacher
Our English immersion childcare centre is looking for a creative, dedicated, and energetic teacher.
We use English to learn, play, and discover the world around us. Beyond basic language lessons, we teach our students in English and provide endless opportunities to use the language they experience in the classroom and in the natural environment to make English their own. Our innovative curriculum requires our teachers to maintain a classroom environment that matches the enthusiasm and energy of our children. Be aware that this is a demanding but extremely rewarding teaching style.

In addition to a homeroom position in one of our preschool classrooms, this position also requires teaching in our newly developed hybrid online+ elementary lessons. The students in this program attend 1-on-1 and small group online classes during the week and in person project lessons on the weekends. The successful candidate must be passionate about working with young children, be able to work in a team, have strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.
The successful candidate must:
speak English as their first language
hold a bachelor’s degree or higher
currently reside in Japan with a valid working visa (sponsorship available)
have at least 2 years of experience, teaching young children in a preschool environment
experience with online conversation classes is a plus
Location: 福岡県糟屋郡宇美町宇美4361-2 Umi, Umi-machi, Kasuya-gun, Fukuoka
Starting Dates: from Mid September to the start of October (possible late August work available)
Hours: 10:00 – 20:00 Tue-Fri; 9:00 – 15:00 most Saturdays (up to 46 hrs. most weeks)
Pay: 293,000￥ monthly + completion bonus of a 1 year contract
