Job Description
School Aide/Assistant Therapist
Assisting a team of educational and clinical specialists (e.g., Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech-Language-Hearing Therapists (SLHT), BCBA (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst), ABA therapists, etc., in a variety of treatment-related tasks, including program preparation, conducting assessments, writing reports, carrying out one-on-one and/or small group home-based and/or school-based therapy sessions, etc., for children with special needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, Articulation/Speech Disfluency, hearing loss, LD, AAC-communicator, etc.)
Providing 1:1 school aide (i.e., school shadow) to support a preschool/grade-level student with ADL skills and socialization in his/her school environment.
Part-time
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:30 pm and some weekends
