Job Description
To provide quality English language lessons to students of all ages, from Kindergarten on the floor with music, games and action; to professionals on the job & casual learners 'keeping afloat'. Regular weekly class schedule; all classes are small & manageable, and mostly at the school. The school is very well resourced; you will be expected to deliver interesting, varied and fun lessons with clear learning goals. Ideal candidate is reliable, cheerful, well-prepared and flexible. We are a well-established, community-centred language school. You are encouraged to develop teaching & related professional skills on the job.
The school is Japan's longest established Cambridge Assessment English Centre (JP004) - an understanding of these exams would be beneficial. Ideal candidate will want to become a Speaking Examiner & be able to carry out such 'extra' work if asked.
Regular 5-day working week (extra classes available); & help with finding a semi-furnished apartment locally. Visa sponsorship/renewal possible. Must be a university graduate; EFL experience required & CELTA preferred. English to C2 level necessary.
