Job Description
JLE Japan are currently looking for dynamic individuals to join their ALL-STAR team working on various international sporting events, including the Rugby World Cup 2019.
Rugby World Cup roles
Host/ess - will be the face of the client’s organisation, impersonating their values and ensuring the guests are having a good time, crafting a unique fun and relaxed (yet professional) atmosphere.
- Meet & greet at airports or hotels

- Match day/stadium hospitality and host

Pay: ¥25,000 per day (based on 12 hours a day)
Location (various): Tokyo (may require travel to various cities across Japan), Shizuoka, Toyota City
Team Leaders / Coordinators - will work directly with senior event staff and support the full hospitality operations and are available between 14th September and 6th November. A brief overview of the role includes:
- Direct and assemble guests as required and lead in/out of events/venues
- Able to use the microphone for program announcements
- Welcomes guests at airport/ hotel/ stadium
- Follow the guest itineraries as directed
- Distribute RWC event tickets to guests
- Work with program senior staff on daily logistics
- Report guest incidents and prepare reports if required with a Senior Staff
- Responsible for onboard AV; follow and communicate venue scripts in ways as directed
- Distribute guest welcome packs
- Guest facing support
- Assist in all administrational matters for all upcoming group processes
- Assist with local information and special arrangements as requested by guests
- Liaise with hotel concierge on any information to assist with servicing guest requests
- Keep track of guest requirements and follow up appropriately
- Have full understanding of hotel services offered
- Work with guest lists and program reports
- Provide translations from Japanese to English or English to Japanese as required
Pay: ¥36,000 per day (based on 12 hours a day)
Location: Tokyo based with travel to various cities across Japan.
Must have the legal right to live and work in Japan.
