Job Description

Full-time English teaching position for adults

English school Primary, is a highly evaluated English school for adults and is the largest in Miyagi Prefecture with more than 2,200 students and two branch schools in Sendai (and one branch in Tokyo). We have been in operation for 25 years and have established an excellent reputation.

We are now seeking responsible, presentable and enthusiastic teachers to join our team. Details as follows:

[Contract]
1 year contract (renewable based upon performance.)

[Salary]
270,000yen/Month with a possible performance-based salary increase in subsequent years; Incentives available. Commuting expense is provided.

[Working Hours]
Five days a week within the following time table.
Monday-Friday 12:00-21:00+60min break, Saturday&Sunday&National holiday 11:00-18:00+60min break
2 days off to be decided.
Over 120 days off per year.

10 paid personal days off, Golden week holiday, Summer holiday, and New Year holiday

Social health Insurance (Syakaihoken), Kosei pension plan (Koseinenkin), Unemployment insurance available.

[Others]
English School Primary supports the teachers and provides guidance for living in Japan.

We regret that we can not respond to all applicants. Only those that pass the initial screening process will be considered for an interview and demonstration lesson.
All or part of travel expenses for an interview and demonstration lesson will be paid.(All of the travel expenses will be paid for applicants who live in Miyagi. For applicants who live outside of Miyagi, we subsidize part of the expenses assessed according to the distance from the applicants’ home to our school.)
