MEES International school is looking for an energetic, outgoing, likes to sing, enjoys working with young children, new member to a great team. MEES is child centered, has its foundation rooted in today's contemporary world and aims to prepare children for the challenges ahead. At MEES we believe that each child is different and therefore expects teachers to be flexible.

MEES has a unique approach toward education based on the Montessori method, including new technologies. This full time position fits well for an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge teaching young children. At MEES teachers work in a team, each member of the team is stimulated to teach a specialty the teacher would like to teach, allowing children to freely choose with which teacher they want to work that morning.

This position also includes some afternoon Eikaiwa lessons, therefore a teacher with experience teaching Eikawa has our preference. These classes are 1 to 2 hours weekly lessons with the focus on conversation. Teaching is on a carpet using songs, games and other fun and lively activities.

Position:
-Full time: Monday to Friday, basic hours 9:00 to 18:00 (1 hour break)
-Salary ¥300,000 p/m (can change based on qualification and experience)
-Transportation reimbursed
-Starting between now and January

Requirements:
-Nationality from a western county with native English level.
-Qualifications or experience working at a Kindergarten.
-Working experience as a kids Eikawa teacher (afternoon English lessons)
-An ongoing interest in new developments, openminded.
-A great team player, willing to adopt, with reasoning skills, a good listener.
-Can take initiative with an eye for detail
