Job Description

Tokyo International Kindercare, a respected school with two locations in Tokyo (Azabo and Denenchofu),  is seeking a kindergarten teacher to join our team. The language of learning is 100% English, apart from Japanese language and culture classes. Our teachers provide a richly varied curriculum which allows children the opportunity to discover and wonder.

• We are an international pre-school which follows a Whole Child development approach. We have a good balance of academic and play based learning.
• We welcome teachers with unique ideas to teach children in a class room and to create their lesson plan. All teachers have at least one hour lesson planning time besides their break.
• We have a monthly theme and a daily focus.
• We have a very homely atmosphere and we call our selves TIK family. One of our campus has about 40 children with 8 staff, the other campus has about 30 children with 6 staff.
• Teachers need to write lesson plan every week and plan for the events. Team work is very important for us!
• We have few PD days in a year.
• We have two campuses in Tokyo, both close from the station.

Working days:

• Monday to Friday - 8 working hours a day
