Job Description
At Blue Language Solutions we aim to teach communicative English lessons to students with the goal to spark their interest into learning a second language and their curiosity about the world. In order to do so, we are currently looking for Native English Instructors for the upcoming academic year, starting April 2020.
●Part time Junior high school teacher in Osaka
●WORKING HOURS; teach around 8 lessons /week over 2 days from 8:00 to 15:30 or teach around 13 lessons /week over 3 days from 8:00 to 15:30
●SALARY; 100,000~155,000yen/month
●TRANSPORTATION; Fully covered
●CONTRACT; April 2020 to March 2021(dispatch)

There are currently 2 open positions. One position is for Mondays and Wednesdays. There are a total of 8 lessons per week. The salary is at Y100,000 per month. The second opening is for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. There are a total of 13 lessons per week. The teacher must also attend a teachers meeting. The salary is at Y155,000 per month.
A total of 2 or 3 times per month on varying days (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) there will be English Club activities that will be held from 3 to 4 pm. On that day the scheduled ending time is modified to 4:00. An extra compensation of 1 full hour of teaching will be allocated.

REQUIREMENTS
Must be a native English speaker.
Must be able to commit to a one-year contract.
Be a collaborative, communicative and patient person.
Participate in school meetings and events as necessary.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Previous teaching experience in Japan as well as elsewhere valued.
Teaching certificates (e.g. TESOL, CELTA, BEd, MA TESOL) are preferred but not required.
Japanese language abilities are a bonus.
