Connect-123 has received industry recognition as a quality provider of internship, volunteer, and study abroad opportunities for international students in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Dublin, Shanghai, and Sydney.
We’re growing and are now hiring a part-time Event Coordinator for our new Tokyo location.
As an Event Coordinator, you will:
- Assist international students with preparations for their trip to Tokyo
- Facilitate a rich learning experience for program participants once in-country
- Engage in coaching/mentoring sessions to help students learn from their experience and build their careers
- Provide orientations in Tokyo for new program participants and help with housing
- Organize and participate in fun and educational local events for program participants
Requirements:
- University degree
- Superior people skills, including leadership, listening, problem-solving, and coaching
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Business proficient in Japanese
- Currently residing in Tokyo
- Preferable experience in tourism, event management, teaching, counseling or marketing
- Overseas work/travel/volunteer experience advantageous
