Job Description

The Enterprise Services contract role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the enterprise storage, virtualization and Microsoft Windows systems in the Asia-Pacific region.  This position will work with peers in the US and Europe as well as with other functional groups to assist with needs within the Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities

1. Virtualization Administration
   1. vSphere Administration

1. 1. 1. Install and configure ESXi
      2. Create virtual machines and deploy virtual appliances
      3. Create and execute SRM recovery plans
      4. Configure and monitor status of virtual machine replication using vSphere replication
   2. Compute Hardware Administration
      1. Rack and configure HPE and Cisco servers
      2. Upgrade firmware

1. Enterprise Storage Administration

1. 1. 3PAR
      1. Creating and expanding storage volumes and common provisioning groups
      2. Creating and managing snapshots
   2. SAN switch (brocade)
      1. zoning and configuration
      2. fiber cabling
   3. StoreOnce
      1. Monitor and manage replication
      2. Upgrade firmware and OS

1. Veeam/Backup Administration

1. 1. Create, monitor and manage backup jobs
   2. Manage tape rotation and shipment of monthly and yearly tape-out jobs

1. Windows Server Administration

1. 1. Manage and troubleshoot GPO, SCCM, File and Print servers, Exchange troubleshooting and support as needed

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Japanese
• VMware vSphere administration
  • vSphere Replication Appliance
  • Site Recovery Manager
• Storage Administration (HPE 3PAR preferred)
• Microsoft Windows Administration (preferred)
