About OneUP English School
OneUP English School instructors provide individually tailored one-on-one lessons to our clients at one of our six school locations.
We believe our tailor-made one-on-one style lessons provide our clients with individual attention and allows us to focus on their personal goals, strengths and areas to improve.
Our wide variety of educational materials are all made in-house and provided to our clients at no extra cost. This allows our instructors to focus solely on educating our clients and not on upselling them on the next textbook.
The six OneUP school locations are in Shinjuku, Shinagawa, Ginza, Ebisu, Tokyo-Yaesu and Yokohama. All of our schools are conveniently located close to major subway or JR-line stations. Although we do our best to limit commute times, we ask that our instructors be willing to work at any of the six locations.

**Tokyo-Yaesu school is closed on Sundays and national holidays.
Our instructors have a lot of flexibility in arranging their schedule from month to month but are required to work at least four days that land on weekends per thirty-day schedule as well as some weekday evenings.
Our instructors come from a wide range of backgrounds and from native English speaking countries around the world such as The U.S., Canada, The UK, Austraila, New Zealand, South Africa, Jamaica and more. They work together with our dedicated Japanese staff members to ensure our clients get the most out of their time at OneUP. Our clients range from high school students to retirees but are mostly working professionals.
