Position Overview: We are inviting applications for the role of part-time English Language Instructor. This position is perfect for creative and dynamic educators who are eager to leverage the latest educational technologies to enrich student's learning experiences and who are looking for flexible working arrangements.
Job Requirements:
- Native-level English proficiency.
- Open to both domestic and international candidates. Visa sponsorship is available.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience teaching English to children and Grade students.
- Skilled in creating engaging and interactive lessons.
- Adaptability in teaching students of various age groups.

Work Schedule:
- Flexibility in Scheduling: Starting from one day per week, with the possibility to increase based on mutual agreement. Hours are negotiable, aiming to accommodate both the instructor's and the academy's needs.
- Hours: Typical hours include Weekdays: 14:00 - 20:00 and Saturdays: 09:00 - 18:00 (with a 1-hour break), but can be discussed.
- Holidays: Sundays, national holidays, spring/summer break, and year-end/New Year holidays.

- Our compensation model is tailored to a unique unit-of-time basis, specifically designed to match our class schedules. Each teaching unit is considered to represent a 2-hour block, typically consisting of two separate 1-hour classes.
- Rate: Instructors are compensated at ¥5,000 per unit. With the requirement to work two or three units during the critical teaching window of 14:00 to 20:00, instructors have a structured opportunity to earn a foundational ¥10,000-15,000 daily for these essential hours. Additionally, there's the potential to augment daily earnings by engaging in more teaching units according to the academy’s schedule and the instructor's availability.

Location: EDILAB ACADEMY, located in Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama, Chigasaki Chuo 9-3.
Training: All new instructors receive comprehensive training, integrating them into our educational philosophy and teaching methodology.
