職務要件

This opportunity requires candidates who are fluent English speakers (though not necessarily native).

Must be a Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, or Chiba area resident and can navigate public transportation to their determined work locations in those area(s).

Visa sponsorship is available for those with a bachelor's degree or three years of relevant experience in either childcare or education.

Successful candidates must possess a creative, fun-loving spirit and a genuine passion for teaching children.

This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of up to 40 hours per week.

Additionally, they must fully commit to training to excel in their roles.

International Language House is hiring for exciting teacher positions in our client kindergartens in Tokyo and Kanagawa.

You are:

Your Abilities and Responsibilities:

  • Teaching English to children 1 to 5 years old.
  • Leading fun music-oriented lessons.
  • Make lesson plans on topics you are interested in.
  • Building curriculum with other teachers, working as a team.
  • Cleaning and care of the school grounds and classrooms.

Interview Process

Our goal is to get to know you in a friendly and engaging environment - and to provide ample opportunity to learn about us, too! We want you to know what to expect during the Interview Process so you can confidently showcase the best version of yourself! Our typical process can take 2-3 weeks and includes:

  1. Initial 30-Minute Online (Zoom) Meeting: During this meeting, we will introduce International Language House and provide an overview of our organization, values, and the role you are applying for. We will discuss your background and experience and how they align with our requirements. There will also be the opportunity to ask any initial questions you may have about the position or our company culture. To wrap things up, we will discuss the requirements and steps taken to further the interview process.
  2. Submission of 1-2 Minute Video: As part of the application process, we ask candidates to submit a short video of themselves performing children's songs to showcase their ability to engage children. - This video demonstrates your creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to create a fun and interactive environment for young learners. - Feel free to choose songs that best represent your style and personality, and don't hesitate to incorporate props or gestures to enhance the performance. This video provides valuable insight into your teaching approach and helps us assess your suitability for the role.
  3. In-Person Trial Session: - Successful candidates from the initial screening process will be invited to participate in an in-person trial session at one of our facilities. - This trial session allows us to observe your teaching abilities firsthand and assess your compatibility with our teaching methods and classroom environment. - You'll be able to interact with other candidates or students and gain insight into our teaching philosophy and classroom dynamics. - This session is a practical assessment of your skills and allows you to experience our teaching environment before committing to the role.
  4. Final In-Person Interview: - Candidates who complete the trial session will be invited to a final in-person interview. During this interview, we'll explore your experience, qualifications, and suitability for the position more fully. We'll discuss the role's specifics, including training procedures, expectations during the probationary period, and contractual details. - This interview is also an opportunity for you to ask any remaining questions and clarify any concerns about the role or our organization.
  5. By the end of this interview, both parties should clearly understand expectations and successful candidates will receive further guidance on the next steps in the onboarding process. After your final interview is completed, we will discuss the terms outlined in the training and onboarding contract.
