All new teachers start off with a week of comprehensive training focused on teaching young learners and the Shane teaching methodology. Job Description:

• 5 working days per week with 2 consecutive days off
• 108 working hours per month (which includes office hours)
• Students aged 3 – 12
• Small class sizes
• Teaching assistant present in every class

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary US$2,600 after tax
• The school also offers annual staff trips (Japan and Thailand in the last two years)
• Accredited Mandarin classes (HSK level 1-3) to help teachers get more involved in the local community
• Yearly promotions for teachers (into positions such as senior teacher, events coordinator, academic manager, and supervisor)
• Full reimbursement of document notarization costs, which can cost up to $500 in the USA and £550 in the UK
• Paid 2-week training for new teachers before they start*

Job Requirements:

Due to visa regulations, we can only accept teaching candidates from the following countries: the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa. Applicants must also have:

• A bachelor’s degree (or higher)
• A recognised 120-hour TEFL
• Fluency in English
