Part-Time English Teacher Position – SPEAK UP 英会話

SPEAK UP 英会話 is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as part-time English teachers.

SPEAK UP 英会話 is an English school located in Shinagawa, Tokyo. We teach students of all ages, from young children to adults, although the majority of classes are for children. The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic, and professional, with excellent communication skills and the ability to make learning enjoyable for students of all ages.

Previous teaching experience is an advantage, but not required. We welcome applications from motivated individuals who are passionate about working with children and helping students develop their English skills.

Work Conditions

• Part-time position
• Pay is ¥3,000 per class
• Most classes are 50 minutes in length, with some classes being 30 minutes
• The same rate applies regardless of class length
• Transportation expenses are fully reimbursed
• Current availability is for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons (approximately 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm)
• Most classes are small-group lessons for children, although some days may include adult classes.
• Comprehensive training and support will be provided before teachers begin teaching
• There is a strong possibility that this position may transition into a full-time role in the future

Requirements

• Native-level English ability
• Friendly and professional attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Valid visa permitting part-time work in Japan (visa sponsorship is not available for part-time employees)
