職務内容

Global Step Academy International School is looking for experienced and creative teachers to work with children at an international preschool and kindergarten. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning and active participation in all student activities and school events. Teachers must have a genuine interest in working and communicating with children of different nationalities, mother tongues, and backgrounds.

Job Description

• Support the homeroom teachers in the classroom by preparing materials.
• Manage student behavior.
• Help to maintain accurate student records and attendance.
• Identify unique student needs and collaborate with team members to effectively address those needs.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned (school bus attendant duties, classroom cleaning, preparation of lesson materials).

Working Conditions

• Working Hours: up to 30 hours a week in the 8:00-18:00 time frame (mostly 8:30 to 15:30).
• Working Days: Monday to Friday.
• Holidays: Japanese National Holidays + about 6 weeks of school holidays + paid holidays
• Allowances: transportation fees reimbursement (up to ¥1,000/day or ¥15,000/month)

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of child cognitive development.
• Ability to assess students of different mother tongues and backgrounds.
• Native English speaker.
• Residence Status for work in Japan.
