FRIENDS English Academy 2 is looking for English teachers who love working with school-aged children and are passionate about what they do. We are a private English school which focuses on teaching English grammar and are committed to offering the best possible instruction to our students.

We have a vacancy to fill ASAP for a full-time teaching position in our private school in Adachi-ku, Tokyo located just a 5-minute walk from Kitasenju Station.

Job Description:

• Teaching English grammar to children aged 9 to 18 years of age
• Preparing lessons and classroom activities
• Answering the phone and other administrative duties

Monthly Salary:

• ￥210,000～￥250,000 depending on skill and experience
• Transportation costs to and from the school are reimbursed

Work schedule:

• Full time position working 14:00-21:30 Tuesdays to Saturdays
• The school is closed on Sundays, Mondays and all national holidays

Requirements:

• Native English speaker
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience teaching English to children
• Conversation level Japanese speaking ability
• Must be currently residing in Japan and be able to work in Japan

• Love working with children
• Experience developing creative and stimulating lesson plans
• Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Culturally sensitive and respectful towards children
• Candidates with a valid working visa are preferred but visa sponsorship is available
