Applications are now being accepted for an English instructor at Eikaiwa Storey's in Fujinomiya city, Shizuoka-Ken (Approx. 1hr south of Tokyo by Shinkansen). The successful candidate will have an overall passion for teaching and the ability to teach children and adult conversation classes.

We have a great program, excellent materials, and continued support and job training. The successful candidate will have their own classroom and teach the same students every week. Our classrooms are large, bright, and fully equipped with Ipads, Ipods, macbooks, projectors, Bose wireless speakers, textbooks of course, and access to various apps and online resources that really bring our classrooms to life.

We are located in Fujinomiya, which is a small/medium city, population over 120,000, near Hakone, Izu, the ocean, mountains, and Mt. Fuji is in our backyard. There are plenty of scenic sites around including Mount Fuji’s 5 lakes, Shiraito Falls, the Mount Fuji World Heritage Center, and of course the famous Sengen Shrine. Fujinomiya has easy access to the Tomei Highway, the Shinkansen isn’t far away, and the Fujinomiya JR train station is less than a 5 minute walk away.

We pride ourselves on our at home feel, and our teachers really become part of our family. We expect a lot from our teachers, and in return we can offer a one-year contract, a better than average salary, 7 weeks paid holiday per year, and a Monday to Friday 25-30 lesson work week. We are also very happy to help with housing accommodations and have had nothing but great success with previous instructors staying an average of 2-4 years.
