About New International School of Japan
We are an international school in Tokyo accredited by the Council of International Schools and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Multi-age and dual language by design, we serve about 275 children from PreSchool age 3 to Grade 12. We use a thematic approach, with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence as our primary curriculum resource. It is a highly collaborative, Vygotskian style of multi-age education with a three-year age range of children who learn from one another as well as from the teachers. There are at least two teachers of equal status per class of a maximum of 24 children. Vacancies are posted on the employment page of our website.
