About New Life International School
New Life International School is a small Christian international school offering English education to grades Kindergarten through grade 12. It is located in the beautiful valley of Kofu, Yamanashi, just a 1 and 1/2 hour’s drive from Tokyo. The elementary teachers teach all the subjects including reading, writing, math, Bible, science, social studies, music, art, and physical education in a self-enclosed classroom. NLIS has a WASC candidacy for grades K-9 and is working toward accreditation by 2024. The mission of NLIS is to equip students to be active, independent, expressive, and loving. The vision is to provide quality Christian education in a safe, loving, family atmosphere.
