For almost two decades, GreenHouse PHOENIX has been a promoter in the field of education, offering exceptional opportunities to help Japanese and international students reach their English language goals. Founded in 2004, GreenHouse PHOENIX has grown to become one of the most respected private educational institution of its kind in the Nagakute neighborhood, eastern Nagoya, in Aichi prefecture, Central Japan. Past and future hold hands in Nagakute, a city known for the greatest historical battle that originated modern Japan, the site of World Expo 2005, the first publicly used mag-lev train and, due to its comfortable residential environment, the number 1 choice for young couples in 2021. As of November 2022, Nagakute is also the site of Ghibli Park.
Not only our location near Fujigaoka subway station on Higashiyama line, but also our one-of-a-kind facilities, make GreenHouse PHOENIX the ideal workplace. We educate students of (almost) all ages, with our signature courses, the bi-weekly courses for children, ensuring them to fly-high and land higher, even at Tokyo University, on residential programs or, in exchange programs abroad. Many students have been attending for years, some with their children, and others came back with their own children after they have grown-up. Committed to highest quality language teaching, we offer group programs with a maximum class size of 6 students, and all language skills are covered. All our courses, group or private, from kindergarten children to university professors or retirees, are offered both in classroom and online. Recognizing the invaluable resource our teachers represent, we are committed to supporting them with the visa sponsorship, the initial training and monthly professional development sessions throughout their tenure, with the goal of developing them into highly skilled and successful professionals., able to teach everywhere and everyone.
We are open Monday through Saturday, and only our school events are held on Sundays. The academic year is divided into three terms: January to April, May to August and September to December, with one to two-week paid vacation between terms.
