We are "Universal Kids Shinagawa" and "E-STEM Kids (operating since April 2025) - a preschool childcare & after school facility - located on the first floor of the Gotenyama Trust Tower adjacent to the Marriott Hotel near Shinagawa Station. (Free shuttle bus service is available from Shinagawa Station)

Partner schools: UK Yokohama, UK Bangkok (Thailand),Global Education Center(next to UK Yokohama)

Position: Foreign Childcare & English Teachers for a pre school & afterschool 

Our school is a new school childcare center that has only been established for two years,  will start international preschool  from April 2025.So depending on your ability, first you will be English teacher & Childcare staff but you may be able to work as a manager. If you are not satisfied with just following a predetermined program, this is a great environment for you.

You will be working with children between 1 and 12 years old who attend the school and speak & teach English on a daily basis.

■Specific duties
Program implementation (preschool & school age children)

Conduct programs so that preschoolers and school children can concentrate and work safely in activities such as English, Japanese, science, music, gymnastics, park play, free play, etc.

We will also provide lessons using the online game Minecraft and Scratch, a programming language for kids, so those who are good at programming using Minecraft and visual languages are preferred.

■Daily support
Assist preschool children & elementary school children with supporting to Pick-up and drop-off, sleeping, eating, toileting, changing clothes, changing diapers, etc.

■Prepare teaching materials and decorations
Prepare teaching materials, assist in making props for events, etc.

■Duties necessary for facility operation
Assist in cleaning of the preschool, organization of documents, etc.

■Assist in watching over children
Escorting children to and from school by vehicle (riding in the vehicle with them so that there is no danger during the ride) and other duties as needed.

Also, watch over children during health checkups, evacuation drills, and events to ensure that children are not injured.

■Working hours
Between weekdays Monday through Saturday, 3~5 days a week.

Shift from 8:00am to 7:00pm (4~6.5 hours per shift, sometimes doing overtime) If you have preferred time, we can disscuss and take into consideration.

■Employment Type
Part-time (4-6.5 hours/day, 3~5 days/week or more)

■Allowance
Hourly wage: 1,350 yen or more (try-out and training time ¥1,200, about 1~2 months)
