All applicants for Meiko Kids e “Video Acting Talent” positions should meet the following minimum eligibility requirements before their candidacy can be considered. Exceptions may be made under special circumstances:
Desired Candidate Traits and Skills:
Ideal candidates for this position are described as follows:
- Energetic individuals with great stage presence
- People who can speak and enunciate clearly
- Individuals with physical stamina (for performing multiple takes)
- Patient individuals capable of listening instructions and implementing feedback
- Individuals who are aware of and pay attention to their own personal appearance
Language Requirements:
- English: Native Level
- Japanese: Conversational (JLPT N3) Level (Preferred)
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Acting experience is not required but appreciated
Residency Requirements:
Applicants without Japanese citizenship must reside in and possess a residency status that allows for mid-to-long-term residence in Japan.
Preference is given to applicants with one of the following residency statuses:
- Permanent Resident
- Long-Term Resident
- Dependent of a Japanese National
- Dependent (Dependent of a Permanent Resident)
- Highly-Skilled Professional
- Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Relations

職務内容
Meiko Kids e is looking for applicants native level spoken English skills to star in English language education videos for children. This position is ideal for people interested in building their acting portfolio and/or people who are interested in English language education and early childhood development. It also offers a flexible schedule allowing for work around existing commitments.
Basic Job Functions
- Reciting scripted material on camera as directed
Working Hours:
- 1 day per week (Tuesday or Sunday) - Negotiable
- 4 hours per day between 10:00 - 14:00
Wage:
- Starting at ¥1200 per hour
Contract Duration:
- 2 months (with possibility of extension)
