職務要件

Educational level: Bachelor’s Degree or training in ESL / TESL / TESOL
English level: Native speaker or Native level
Japanese proficiency: Not required
Must be good with young children aged 2-6 years old. Preferably working experience as a kindergarten/preschool teacher, kindergarten assistant, or teacher aide.
Live within 1 hour by public transport
Must currently have a valid working visa, which we will renew
Must be passionate, have creative and artistic teaching abilities, and have strong communication skills, patience, and flexibility for this role. A positive attitude and cheerfulness during class are required to expect the same from your student.
Working in a team to ensure the school operates smoothly.

This is a Kindergarten/preschool teacher position so, while a set framework is provided, teachers are expected to enhance their foundation with their creative ideas and infuse enthusiasm in their lessons.

★Work Details

Regular working hours: 8:30-17:30, Monday through Friday( 8 working hours with 1-hour break)
Participate in occasional special events held on weekends/holidays
Teacher’s duties include: Teaching, lesson planning, preparation materials, and other school-related works, Providing a safe and loving environment for our students
Starting monthly salary of ￥230,000 - 270,000 (negotiable)
Renewal performance bonus upon successful completion and re-signing of a 1-year contract
A full transportation allowance

★About our school

First Star International School is a brand new kindergarten/preschool in Meguro-Ku, Tokyo　-a 10mins walk from Toritsu daigaku station/ easily accessed from Shibuya station(10mins by train).

We are opening in August 2022.

We are looking for committed and passionate teachers who are keen to share their knowledge and experience and be an integral part of a new school.

Even though we are a brand new school, we are equipped with vast teaching and working experience in international schools in the past and are open minded to teachers bringing in new ideas.

We are currently looking for a full-time teacher, but we have a part-time position available also.
